In his three years working in Lettings with KH, Joshua has made his mark a hard-working and likeable member of the team. In that time he’s honed his negotiating skills and developed his local knowledge. His enquiring mind has seen him explore the city of Bristol and places further afield, such is his love of travel. In his leisure time Joshua loves most sporting activities and brings his energy and vitality to any task he’s required to perform in his own inimitable style.
Tom moved back ‘home’ to the West Country three years ago, after beginning his property career in London, in 2011. With Lettings and Property Management experience, he has added another dimension to the team, and his arrival coincided with a significant upturn in business. As you’d expect from someone who likes DIY and tinkering with classic cars, Tom will turn his hand to most things, and he’s no different in the office, ready to pitch in wherever and whenever he can.
Samantha has managed to fulfil a childhood ambition by forging a career in property. 18 months in and she’s already got experience of the mortgage market prior to moving across to property management, which she’s taken to like a natural. Renowned for her extraordinary capacity to drink tea, Sam believes it fuels her impressive organisational abilities which border on the perfectionist. It’s these qualities which all of us here at KH, are convinced will take her on to a long and successful career in estate agency.
Founding partner Mike has 30 years of Estate Agency in the Bristol Property market. That’s long enough to make anyone streetwise, which helps when it’s your street and your home we might be talking about. Bringing up his family and starting his own business in the local area, shows how invested he is in the community and the connection he has with it. And, along the way, he has acquired an exceptional knowledge of anything and everything to do with property, all of which he’s happy to share with clients when they turn to KH for help and advice.
Geoff, originally from Surrey, discovered Bristol as a student at university. After 5 years in Surrey, getting established in the agency world, he came back and has never left. In total, he’s lived in the city for 15 years, and regards himself as a local now, which is pretty handy when you’re talking property. Heading up the Lettings team at KH, Geoff had worked with another independent and a corporate agency before landing on the Gloucester Road. He’s been instrumental in building up a thriving and successful department which continues to go from strength to strength.
With 10 years tucked under his KH belt, Bristol native Dhani, is well-versed in the overall ethos and vision of the company, which he is able to share with clients through each stage of the sale and purchase process. With an interest in refurbishment, planning and building in particular, his own property know-how is extensive. He’s also been able to combine his love of football with work, not only leading the line as office manager of sales, but also helping to organise Kendall Harper’s sponsorship of a local school’s football teams.
Melissa hails from South Somerset, where her family had a background in both buying and selling property. Taking what she had come to learn at home, Melissa worked for a corporate firm first of all, but much prefers the environment of an independent company like KH, where she can get involved on a more personal and informal level, and use her expertise to match people with properties. She’s also found it easy to fall in love with the vibrant city of Bristol, and enjoys sharing what she knows with anyone thinking of moving to the area.
Assistant Manager Niki, is another Bristolian, and the Gloucester Road really is her territory, having lived in Bishopston for 22 years. She knows the best places to eat, drink and shop, so insider knowledge doesn’t come much better. She’s been interested in property for as long as she can remember, thanks to family connections, so it always seemed a natural career path for her. Even when the going gets tough in the office, Niki is always quick to offer colleagues and clients help and support.
Ann began her property career working for a global commercial consultant in London, and then transferred to its Bristol office. Now settled with her young family in Horfield, Ann regards the Gloucester Road as the area’s hub and loves the dynamic atmosphere on her doorstep. She’s been with KH since 2013, and now has the opportunity to deal directly with home buyers and sellers, particularly on completion day, when she gets the chance to hand over the keys to a new buyer.
Gemma is one of the most experienced of the KH team, having worked for 15 years in both Sales and Lettings. MARLA qualified, she brings a high degree of professionalism to all that she does. Having lived in Bristol all of her life, she is able to communicate her own love and appreciation of the city with an enthusiasm that can best be described as infectious. Realising that it takes more than a healthy mind to work effectively, Gemma keeps fit in her downtime and gets involved in a number of charity activities.
Paul and Mike worked together for 10 years before setting up KH in 2000. Born and bred in Bristol, he’s also raised his family in the city and has witnessed first hand the changes in the local property market, giving him an instinctive grasp of patterns and trends. Paul’s energy and enthusiasm have always been at the very heart of what we do and how we operate at KH, something clients as well as the rest of the team appreciate. His overall experience and expertise give a depth to the overall service offer at KH that is hard to beat.
